ubreed - Equine breeding database

We worked closely with Equine Reproduction Ltd to design and develop an internet based bespoke software application to enable equine breeders to manage their equine semen collection records with functionality to manage dose shipping and insemination outcomes.

We listened

We travelled to Equine Reproduction HQ to see firsthand what they do and to learn the processes and controls behind equine semen collection and shipping. The initial stage involved carefully mapping out what functionality was possible and then identifying the priorities for users within the available budget.

We pondered

Having worked hard to analyse the requirements and priorities for the web-application we were able to design a solution that best fit the stated outcomes.

We fixed

We then built the web-application for testing with a handful of expert equine breeding technicians.

We support

We host the application for Equine Reproduction and continue to expand and enhance the ubreed system by adding new appropriate functionality as requested by the users.
